Almond + Chocolate Bliss Balls

Thinking of making a healthy snack for taking on a road trip, to the beach, or as an emergency snack in your purse? - Try these fully healthy Almond and Chocolate bliss balls that are packed full of organic and gratifying flavours. Not to mention these bliss balls are packed full of Vitamin C, Magnesium, Vitamin B-6 and Calcium. Happy eating!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup, dates pitted

  • 1/2 Cup Cranberries

  • 1/4 Shredded Almonds

  • 3/4 Cup shredded Coconut

  • 2 Tbsp Cocoa

  • 2 Tbsp of Coconut sugar

  • 2 tsp of coconut oil

  • 2 tsp Vanilla paste or essence

Method

1. Soak dates and cranberries in boiling water for 20 minutes. 2. Place dates, cranberries, and the rest of the remaining ingredients in a food processor and blitz until bound together and smooth. 3. Wrap the mixture in glad wrap and place in the fridge for half an hour.(For the mixture to set like cookie dough.) 4. After the bliss balls have been in the fridge, take a large dessert spoon of mixture and roll into balls. 5. Roll in coconut, cocoa, seeds or leave plain. 6. Serve for morning or afternoon snacks. Perfect for school lunches. Keep the bliss balls in a tight container in the fridge for about a week.
