How to submit yo’ work!
All submissions must be a product of YOUR ORIGINAL WORK; we do not accept articles that have been posted on other websites. We accept submissions that are directed to our teenage youth from ages 12-21 years old.
Some work may not be accepted due to crude material. We will respond to your email within 48hrs.

Pick and think of a topic. If you are stumped, we have a variety of topics so there’s a lot to choose! In addition, we have a theme of the month that your submission could be about! We recommend creating a list of things you are passionate about or things you would like to share to our generation. The topics are endless, so run wild with your creativity!

Start by writing your piece (rough draft). Whether you think your writing is good or bad, don’t give up! We don’t judge !

Evaluate. When your rough draft is written, look over spelling errors, punctuation, etc. to complete you master piece.

Add some pizazz! Add some photos or a visual aspect to make your piece appealing!

Get advice!!! Critique your work to see if you are in need to add last minute touches.

With photos or non-fiction pieces, please include your resources and contact information of mentioned gatherings.

Submit your work to thescrapbookmagazine@gmail.com ! Please include your name, a small introduction about yourself (optional), a title, and social media platforms. Please submit your work either in a pdf or a word document. Please attach your photos separately from your work.

Wandering Submission:

I recently read 'All the Bright Places' by Jenifer Niven which is an extraordinary book I can totally relate to this book on different spectrums, but one relation that affects me the most is how the two characters ‘Wander.’ Their ‘Wanderings’ begin as a class project but simply grow into something else; a deep understanding of themselves and the world around them. As they went place to place, they took pictures and wrote a description of where they were and their surroundings. How to submit your wandering:

Take photos of the place you have been + write a description of your surroundings, what you were feeling, etc.!

PLEASE NOTE: If you choose to use the contact form, we will need a follow-up email from you to us sending your photos or artwork - please do not use the form if your article is primarily photos.
