Wanderings
I recently read 'All the Bright Places' by Jenifer Niven which is an extraordinary book about two senior students that meet at the ledge of their school who consider to commit suicide. From this book, I realize that life is so dear to us and we need to spend every moment treasuring it, and that people can enter and leave your life after one event. I can totally relate to this book on different spectrums, but one relation that affects me the most is how the two characters ‘Wander.’ Their ‘Wanderings’ begin as a class project but simply grow into something else; a deep understanding of themselves and the world around them. As they went place to place, they took pictures and wrote a description of where they were and their surroundings. The idea of it seemed amazing, so we decided to add it as a category to our magazine! We give full credit to Jenifer for this brilliant idea!
